Scientific Diagram

Explaining Scientific Diagrams

Scientific diagrams show the different elements of the diagram to give information.

Purpose:

The purpose of the scientific diagram is to give more information, they explain more information about what you’re reading.

Audience:

The Audience of the text we read. How plants grow was around 5-11 years old because it has a lot of color and not much scientific words/information. It depends on what age you are, say if you're 5 or 8 year olds you would not use as much information and scientific words.

Visuals:

The visuals were used to add more detail instead of just using everyday words. They added more pictures in How do plants grow text because it would be easier for younger kids, it would make more  sense instead of scientific words.

Symbols:

The symbols were used to connect the labels to the text in Planting an apple tree. To make it have more details instead of using plain words.

Labels:

The labels are used to add simple words to the text, instead of using so many words. They use labels to make it easier to read.
