The Great 1 Metre Bike Challenge

Today we did the Great 1 Metre Bike Challenge. We had to get on a bike and put a chalk mark where we started and where we finished. We also had to measure how far we went. My estimate turned out to be 121cm.

MRSGREEN LION

MRSGREEN LION
Movement: The deer will move one way then another,
the deers will make a lot of noise to confuse the lions.
The lion can only only run fast for a short time.
Reproduction: In captivity lions often breed every year,
but in the wild they usually breed no more than once in two
years. Females are recepitve to mating for three or four days
within a widely variable reproductive.
Sensing: The lion is known as the king of the jungle,
and he’s engineered to rule. Not only do lions have good senses.
Growth: Adult lions are between 3 and 8 years old.
They are fully grown and are of breeding age - females will
often have cubs. Adult males are in their prime.
Respiration: Lion  respiratory systems are similar to humans
as well, through a two-way respiratory system. T
hey inhale oxygen.
Excretion: Lions, like other mammals,
urinate through their genitals, via a tube that leads from their
bladder to the outside world. Giraffes ingest and digest
their food in an internal cavity.
Giraffes excrete their nitrogen waste as urea.
Found mostly in Africa.
Nutrition: Lions are also scavengers and will happily steal food from other animals, or eat leftovers after a kill. This means than when other carnivores have caught prey, lions will often bully them into giving up their meal. This doesn't always work with hyenas though, who also live in a family group called a pride.

What I did today in Maths

WALT: read a ruler accurately.

This is the experiment we did.
One person held a ruler and dropped it and we had to catch it with our thumb and our index finger, Whatever it landed on we had to write it down. We had 3 turns. When we were down we had to add them together.

My accuracy was 7 Because the numbers I had was 8,5,8.

Technology

Today at Technology I did wood works and sewing. Today was our last day for the term. What I did in wood works was putting my box together, screwing  and measuring the sides and the bottom of it. I started to finish off my keychain because I finished one part and had to wait for the next instruction. I've nearly finished my box I just needed to finish my keychain. Then we ate our morning tea, I was sitting with Lauryn, Meliki and Maiah. After morning tea Me and Meliki went to sewing cause she was in my group. At sewing we waited outside for the teacher to come. We walked inside and put some hand sanitizer on and we got our bag from the table and sat down and listened to the teacher giving out instructions. I did most of my sewing that needed to be done, I finished most of it but not all of it.
