My Maths Improvement

In my maths group with Sharon. We are doing these times table sheets that we do once a week. I have improved from last week. My score was 76%. And last week score was 45%.  I need to improve on is how fast I am, At answering the questions. I will try to improve next week, And go faster.  In 10 minutes.

Pascall Snifter Lumps vs Pineapple Lumps

I really like the Snifter Lumps. They make my mouth water with yumminess. I love them as much as the pineapple lumps. They taste minty and sweeter than the Pineapple Lumps. They smell like sweet coca and delicious hot chocolate on a cold winters day. I would recommend the Snifter Lumps. But they can get really sweet. I would give them 9/10.

I rate the Pineapple Lumps

Sweet and yummy to eat I enjoyed eating the Pineapple Lumps. They make me want to start carving the Lumps. They feel like soft/hard chocolate bricks that melt in my mouth.  They taste sweet and hard. They smell like chocolate and sweet pineapple.  I recommend the Pineapple Lumps, I rate them 10/10. Because they were sweet and yummy and ejoyable to eat.

My Maths Goal

Today we did Maths and we had to do a sheet with times tables.  My score was 45% because I didn't get to finish the sheet it was a 10min timer. My goal is completing with 100 answers in 10mins.  My target fact is 7x9= 63. 

Foraging Trip

Yesterday afternoon Me, a group of kids and Mr Redmond went on a Foraging Trip. (aka Weden, Quinna Spinach and Lily Spinach). We got in the school vans and drove to the Red zone to get some fruit for school. So much sandflies were flying around us it was a little annoying,We looked for apples and pears and plums, there was so many apples with bugs in them. We found Pears and some apples, Before we were leaving I stepped in a puddle which I didn't see were it was, We all got in the vans and drove to school, I was in the back seat of the car with Eden,Lily and Kiwa, Lily and Kiwa tried to trick us but it didnt work (well it kinda did). We were all talking to each other Me and Eden were mostly talking to each other. We arrived at school we did the Karakia and went home. The Foraging Trip was fun.

My Surfing Experience

Surfing

Last Friday was my first day back and my first time doing surfing. We got to pick our groups but the class did that on the second day of back to school. So I was in a group with all my friends it was fun. We were in the second group for surfing. After the bell rang we put our wetsuits on and got in the van and went to the beach.  We played in the sand for a bit because we had to wait for the first group to finish their lessons. The water was cold but not that much. My group started throwing seaweed at each other and splashing it was fun. The first group got out, we got to pick our surfboard. We learnt how to stand up on the board on the sand. We got in the water and hit the waves. I stood up on the board then fell off quite a few times. At the start I was a bit nervous but not anymore. I was enjoying it. After a long surf we got changed and went back to school.  I had an amazing time and I really want to do it again.  

My first day back

My first day back

My first day back was quite fun. It was so different being a senior. I was so exicted to see all my friends. When I arrived I was a bit nervous and scared,how my first day would go. When I was walking in the gate. After I walked to my classroom,I unpacked my bag.

Then waited for Kiwa to arrive. When she arrived I was happy to see her. After I went to go see my other friends I havent seen all holidays. My friend Mya and London came running up to me and gave me a big hug and I was so happy to see them. We were having a chat for a while then the bell rang. I was a bit nervous for how the day was gonna go but I was fine. (My first day back was friday because I was still on holiday). 

So in the morning we did the Karakia and then we started to do handwriting. I was a bit confused because Im not use to doing handwriting in the morning. But since I had surfing Me and Kiwa didn't have to do handwriting. We went down to get our wetsuits on. After we sat in the school van and drove to the beach. When we got there, I was exicted to go surfing for the first time. We had to wait for the other group to finish there surfing lesson. But we played in the sand. After the other group got out we went in. 

We grabbed a surf board and had a practice how to get up on the board. After that we got told to put our legropes on and go in the water. I was exicted and a bit nervous. At first there was some big waves but then they got smaller. But I still catched good waves. I fell off the board like a tornado hit me. But I got back up and hit the waves. I standed up on my board then fell off after we got changed and went back to school in the van.

When we got back to school we had our break and I went to go play with my other friends and Kiwa came along to. We were basically just standing and talking about the holidays and what we did. Since we got bored we went to go walk around and talk like always. After a while of talking the bell rang and we went back into class to have our lunch.

At lunch time I sat with Kiwa. We were talking alot, but eating alot to. We talked about the holidays and to have a sleepover in the weekedend like we always do. After eating we had to do a maths test. 

At the maths test the test was a bit hard and a bit easy. I did most of the answers, but I didnt do as much as people. After we did silent reading for 25mins. It was different but reading was quite fun. 

After break we did P.E we played basketball it was fun. The game was quite intense. My team won though,but it was tricky because their was alot of people who were good at the game.

I had a fun day meeting new people and old, and getting to know more people I had a fun first day back.
